KLM surprises her passengers with a Sky High Exhibition at 33,000 feet

Yesterday, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines became the first airline to surprise its passengers with a photo exhibition at an altitude of 33.000 feet. With this exhibition on the Amsterdam – New York flight the airline launched its Sky High Collection; the revamped range of products on board. Fitting the contemporary and surprising new look & feel the leading Dutch photographer Carli Hermès created a photo series of a number of products.

KLM has worked with established names in the Dutch design and culinary worlds for many years. In so doing, KLM emphasises its Dutch roots.

The KLM Sky High Collection includes products created by Dutch designers such as the Buddha to Buddha bracelet, Omar Munie suitcase labels and the Fab. purse.

Carli Hermès
Carli Hermès studied photography at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and the Bournemouth School of Art in the United Kingdom. He is known for his iconic and often provocative advertising campaigns for leading international brands including BMW, Mercedes Benz, Nike, G-Star, Martini and Suitsupply. With his sharp and stylish images, Hermès always pushes the limits to convey his energy-packed message.
